As Brussel based consultants, we offer a wide range of monitoring and public affairs services. These services enable clients to anticipate, shape, and take proactive measures regarding emerging policies and legislative initiatives. Through our global network, we also extend our expertise to other geographies.

Monitoring and intelligence gathering: Providing intelligence and insights on key policy developments. We leverage our network within (European) Government institutions, business associations, partners and beyond. We compile up to date and digestible information from a range of available primary and secondary resources.

Gap assessment and stakeholder mapping: Departing from (new) policy initiatives or set of compliance standards, our team may conduct a gap assessment to idnetify areas of impact and further analysis or action. We support stakeholder and spheres of influence mapping, to inform public affairs and sustainability strategy building.

Strategizing and implementing public affairs, influencing and engagement: Guiding your organisation (and its members) to prioritize issues and craft an agreed strategy for policy influencing, advocacy or engagement. Building on our experience in discrete engagement, as well as public positioning and conference participation, we support the right level of action at the right ‘momentum’ for visibility and influence.

Coordination and compliance with (EU) regulations and policies; guiding HQ business and subsidiary entities and teams in their monitoring and implementing role. To support awareness, coherence and in-house buy-in with regards to positioning for and compliance with sustainability and trade related policies in line with corporate ambitions.

Trade and customs: trade policy, free trade agreements (FTA’s), trade related dialogue (Domestic Advisory Groups), trade barriers including market access, import and export restrictions, customs and trade facilitation.

Sustainability and transition: from sustainability reporting (CSRD and ESRS standards) and sustainability due diligence (CSDDD, Battery Regulation, Conflict Minerals) to ESG-related legislation, with key focus on human rights and forced labour, climate and environment (CBAM, deforestation), critical raw materials (CRM and EU Battery Regulation) and anti-corruption.
Whilst Brussels-based and hence a key focus on the European Union (EU) context, our practice team brings strong global experience, specifically emerging markets in Americas, Asia and ACP-countries.
